Sebastian Zimmermann, Giessen/Vienna, Status Update B-TOF
Sebastian described his funding situation which is unsure and at maximum until
end of the year. Since he is the only one working on the B-TOF, this endangers
the future design of the B-TOF.
The 3d version of the PCB (Rogers 4003C) for the B-TOF was tested.
It has 400um (before 100um) wide signal strips for smaller
signal attenuation due to the skin effect. A small loss of 11.7(5) %
over the full length was observed. At the same time the rise time of the
signals increased by 50%. The reason for latter effect is not yet clear.
