Description
RECENT RESULTS FROM THE AMS EXPERIMENT ON THE ISS Since May 2011 the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) is collecting high energy cosmic rays from the International Space Station (ISS), providing the first high precision measurements of fluxes and composition in the energy range from 0,1 GeV to few TeV. Precise measurements of rare antimatter components (positrons, antiprotons etc) suggest the presence of a yet unexplained mechanism producing excess of antiparticles at high energy. We report about the most recent AMS results based on more than 50 Billions recorded cosmic rays
