Description
We are pleased to announce the workshop: "Thermoelectric properties related to nanostructure and dimensionality in Bi2Te3 nanomaterials" to be held at GSI Darmstadt, Germany.
The aims of the workshop are (i) to present the scientific highlights of the different clusters of the SPP working on Bi2Te3 nanomaterials, (ii) to identify limiting mechanisms for the figure of merit, and (iii) to propose promising routes for further improving ZT.
The workshop will document the advances that have been achieved with respect to (i) sample synthesis, (ii) various characterization methods, (iii) thermoelectric property measurements, and (iv) theoretical modeling. For reaching this goal, oral presentations and key notes will be presented, with enough time for discussions.
Talks and discussions will be summarized in a book. Speakers, primarily from within the SPP, are encouraged to participate and contribute to the book writing.
