Laser Spectroscopy on Ti Isotopes

The Z = 50 element tin has a magic proton number and has therefore always been a key in the understanding of nuclear theory. Laser spectroscopy measurements have been performed previously with low resolution up to the doubly magic nucleus 132Sn. We have now measured the isotopic chain 109,112-134Sn including many isomers using collinear laser spectroscopy. Results will be presented and insights to nuclear structure are discussed.
