Description
I will be discussing some of the results from proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions taken with the ALICE experiment. In particular global observables like particle production and flow, as well as hard probes like heavy quarks and jets will be discussed and a perspective will be given on future opportunities, which will be in reach for ALICE following the upgrade following Long Shutdown 2. Follwing the colloquium, the GSI-FAIR PhD prize will be awarded to Dr. Ingo Tews.
